If you get super hydrated the whole day beforehand, you are a lot less likely to get hungover. Around Thursday evening, if I assume I will be going out that weekend, I start putting away water like it is nobody's business. Another glass before bed, and I've never been hungover when I did this.

remember when i got trashed at my father in laws in Florida, called him a beached whale..wild turkey kicked my *** in that heat..I was huggin the tiolet that night and a bigass spider jumped out from behind it...i killed it .suffered bad next day....he was pissed I killed the spider...WTF. needless to say it was awhile before I returned to Florida....but we were friends after that,,,,he recently died..Good ol Joe, RIP

This thread is full of winners. I have probably done all that has been mentioned and all have worked well.
Some guy once told me to drink a glass of milk before drinking, he claimed it coated your stomach or something. I tried it, but just ended up hugging the porcelain god.
If I wake up in my house I usually make some scrambled eggs with onions, chives, and shredded chedder with a side of salsa, toast(a little burnt) and a gallon of water. That usually helps a good bit.
