Things went pretty well for our first attempt at xball. I now know a couple things that needed to be added to the rules. Special thanks goes out to JTUSA and Crowley Ridge Paintball for helping make the tournament happen.

MWPL 3Man Xball Rules

1. Maximum of 5 players per roster.
2. Teams will receive 1 point per flag hang.
3. There will be 5 minutes of game play during each match with a 2 minute break between each point scored for players to get air, paint, etc.
4. Penalties: (Will be assed on the next game on the player who received the penalty)
A. Playing on during a game- 1 Minute in the Penalty Box
B. Whipping a hit- 2 Minutes in the Penalty Box
C. Cursing on or off the field- 1 Minute in the Penalty Box
D. Shooting non event paint- 1 Minute in the Penalty Box
5. Teams will play a 5 minute game match against three teams during the preliminary round of the tournament. (This should average out to be 6-7 preliminary games for each team)
6. The top two scoring teams in the preliminary round will play one 5 minutes game match to determine which team wins the tournament.
7. The tournaments are event paint only. (Players caught shooting non event paint will be pulled)
8. If player is checked after hanging the flag had they have been hit then the flag point goes to the other team and penalties will be assed.
9. Team match ups will be randomly drawn from a hat during the captains meeting before the tournament begins.
10. If there are an odd number of teams them one team will end up with nobody to play for their 2nd match. To solve this problem we will chose a wildcard team to play the last team. The wildcard team will keep the two highest score matches.
11. Any ties during the preliminary round that would effect getting into the finals will be resolved with a one on one match with a player from each tied team.
12. Coaching is allowed
13. Semi and ramping allowed with a 15bps cap
14. Any aggressive contact with another player will result in a 1 minute penalty. (Yelling)
15. Players must to straight to the dead box when eliminated. Do not just exit the field. If player exits the field and does not go in deadbox that will result in a 1 minute penalty.
16. Any aggressive contact with another player will result in players being DQ (Touching)
17. Team can only hold the flag for one minute when running down the clock. If there is less than one minute remaining then a team can only hold the flag for 30 seconds

Here is the time schedule for the 2nd tournament.

9:00 AM- Teams may check in, get paint, chrono, walk field, etc.
9:45 AM- Team briefing
10:00 AM- Games begin

Well today was fun. Lots of great games and super duper moves. Must give the best move to the guy from GW Army who pulled a run through on the entire Afterlife team. Funnest play of the day goes out to another GW Army player whos pants fell down during the game. Also would like to thank members of Badd Companiee who reffed and helped with the rec players after the tournament. The rain wasnt to bad today, although it did make it very hot and the masks fog.
