For the price get the 7th element. It has all the modes you will need, A warrenty that cannot be beat and their customer service is outstanding.

Plus you get a complete board with hoses, the virtue isn't goingto come that way.

I had the Blackheart and wasnt very pleased just because it was a very expensive stock board IMO. Now I have a Virtue OLED, and I love it. The only thing that has bothered me with it is that it is very fragile. The LED screen broke on me aftering tightening my grip screws, but I called Virtue and they are sending me a new one, so their customer service is good to go with me.

Ive never owned the 7th element board but have heard good things about it. So if I were you I would look at the specs listed for each board and then make your decision.

See here, I try not to spoon-feed people information... unless it's a very specific PROBLEM that needs very specific suggestions.

Now I'm assuming here, so bare with me: The OP was browsing AVI and found these three boards. Without doing any research for himself, he just asked here first. That thread has all the information you would ever need about the three boards, thus helping himself to making the decision.

You see where I'm coming from?

I can understand, I guess I take it on a case by case basis.

I think you're missing the point. All the information you could possibly need to make your own decision is in the thread he linked for you. Fact of the matter is, whatever board you choose with the exception of the Blackheart, you're pretty much going to achieve the same results. 7th E, Virtue, and APE all provide great products backed with great customer service, so you can't go wrong with any of them. If you compare the boards using the chart below, they all provide all the necessary functions. Virtue doesn't include programmable eye modes or bolt return adjustment, but those two adjustments are next to useless. Virtue and 7th E have adjustable ramp percentage as well as a Pulse socket if you need one. The APE board includes several different breakout modes, but again, breakout modes are kind of useless unless you're in a tournament or at a field that allows them. Trainer modes are fun to mess with if you're easily entertained, but they're not any more useful than just walking the trigger while watching your favorite movie. If you prefer using a keypad, the APE includes one, where as teh other boards do not, so it's preference. Do you want to program using a bunch of buttons, or would you rather use the trigger? All three use an 80g switch, and that's a good thing as you'll get a slightly more positive feel and less bounce even with a super light pull.

The biggest difference is cost. For the money, a 7th E will provide most of the features of a Virtue, and many of the APE's features while having some features the APE doesn't, at half the cost of either one. So there you go.

don't mean to hi jack the thread, but we do not want to mis lead our customers.
The table should be updated.....
1. Our ION board does not include the RF Module adapter/connector (all other models do)
2. We now have our training mode and the 7 user profiles
3. "breakout mode" to us is our full auto/user define ramping mode
4. and our ION board does not support the "keypad."

for whoever prepared the table. it's comprehensive, but needs update.

7th element is a great company. Their board will have everything you need for cheaper than others. I personally use virtues in all my stuff, but thats just what Ive always used and still do.

Snow bandit is the one who originally created the chart, I plan on making an updated one using the chart above and update what I know.
