dm9 ping noise

was wondering if anyone else has experienced a ping noise when they fire their marker. Would anyone know what this is related to and how i can fix this?

What tank reg are you using? it its Myth reg, that pinging sound is normal.
Another reason is probably theres a debris in your bolt, clean it and relube it.
thats all I could think of rite now.

its a pure energy reg, has never made that noise before. Ill look into the bolt see if theres something there.

its the Myth reg.. me and like 4 other people at my field have the same problem on the DM9..

just noticed you don't have a Myth.. is it a new reg on the tank?

marker is actually brand new, just shot it today. shoots flawlessly minus the ping noise.

mine did it out of the box as well.. I've cleaned the bolt out 3 times and it still makes the noise.. people tell me its the myth reg.. at this point I don't care cause it shoots amazing.. just wish it didn't make that noise

Mine did that out the box and it shot great also.. I think it has to do with the higher volume chamber and smaller bolt? Maybe try using more or less lube? All I kno is I've owned a dm4 dm5 dm7 and have used everything else inbetween and the dm9 has a very distinct feel unlike any other dm Ive shot. they all shoot good tho, its just how it feels

had the same problem out of the box
but after sometime it went away i think its just part of some dm9's break in point
mine did it for about a month of practice and then slowly went away

I donīt know why the myth makes the sound :S but I tried it with the sl8r too last year, with a Luxfer tank and Myth Reg.
