It's just personal preference. I personally like the smoothness of my criticals magnetic return but it's not like the spring on my cp rake was bad either. It's a lot more important to get a trigger with enough set screws to dial it in to your fingers then it is worrying about the return. Spring, micro switch, or magnetic, doesn't matter that much once you set up your trigger
