Exclamation Camfeed trouble

I just recently bought an omen marker with evil pipe barrel system, and I am very disappointed with this marker.
Fist of all it chops paint like a cheap gun. I have tried the troubleshooting section and done every thing possible and it still chops ball. I have tried different kinds of paint (Euroflite, Marbalizer,Blaze;Inferno, 32 Degree competition,Zap chronic) and it is the same story chop, chop, chop.
The ball seems to get chopped in the cam feed just where the balls go into the chamber.
Is there anyone out there who can help me????

The same excat thing was happening to me. It turns out that the screw that holds the cam feed in place was loose. Tighten down that screw and then re-tune your marker. Also, have you checked the Omen trouble shooting thread on this forum? There's some suff there that may be able to help you. See if that helps. Otherwise, call Evil.

im not sure but on some omens there is a screw thats by the cam that holds it in place so if you play with that it could lessen...also the recock controls the cam so make sure its not too high

Yes, tighten the screw as tight as you can go and then adjust the recock, also check your bumper.

Ugh.

This is the kind of thread i should not have read, seeing how my Omen should be coming Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully I won't have to send mine in

Is yours a black trigger/bigger fame model?

ps, that screw just holds the cam arms in, it won't adjust squat. there is no adjustment in the cam arms, it's a completly mechanical process. bolt comes back, forcing the back end of the cam arms out, which that's to the laws of pivot and such, forces the other end in with a ball on it. pretty simple stuff

but have you tried yelling at it

Thumbs down

Now...I talked with Josh Passini at PMI and he talked me through the adjusting of the gun.
Now, I have done that and it is still smashing paint like it ued to.
I am loosing my faith with this marker.......And there is also a new feature: A faint hissing from the barrel.
This is a brand new marker and it is not livimg up to my expectations. The reason why i bought it was that i was told that it was a hell of marker and that PMI had a good reputation for excellent service....Well Ihave written a new mail so i will just have to wait and see.
I feel that PMI is just brushing me aside since i live in Norway.
I have also been waiting for two and a half month for a replacement part for my piranha e-force 2K3 STS marker and still waiting......I loved the gun a lot.

Dude he lives in norway you make it seem so easy for him to call. Get realistic lol.

Underhill - keep bugging em through email, they have a ton of work i'm sure but you are no less important to them just cause you live in norway. don't take no for an answer. if worst comes to worst... you'll have to eat the shipping charges and send it in.

Smile

I just got a nice mail from Josh, where he tells me to send it back and they will have a look on it.
That is just what i wanted.
I love the feel of the Omen, but i just got a little frustrated when it wouldīt stop choping balls.
So itīs back to the USA with the Omen.
By the way, I just got to thank you all for the response on this Forum.

Thanks
Johnny

Vertical Feed + Halo B = Better than Cam

I played with an omen all day today (broke my cocker's 3-way on a barrel first game, borrowed a friend's omen) and I enjoyed playing with it, except that with my TC it would just randomly smoosh the paint. You'd just see paint splatter out the left side, the porting, and front of the barrel.
