Hey, I just got my omen today. and i'm pretty sure i set the velocity and re-cocking correctly. only problem is that the barrel will leak every few shots. I can get 4 or 5 off than I hear air leaking through the barrel and when I fire the ball goes like 3 feet....and the leak stops. than about every 5-8 balls after I have the same problem. /w a 48X3K I used almost 2K on 1 1/2 hoppers of paint!
Hmmmm.....I've been looking at the manual, and I can't find cup seal....where is it? will that fix my leak problem and do you make them for sale?
Also I have a friend at my field that has an older model omen, the on with the silver trigger. when he got his it was leaking everywhere. he fixed a lot of those problems by putting a Thor reg on there. maybe the input pressure was too high? would that help me? should I put a Thor on my omen?
Any air leaking out of the barrel regardless of its with paint or without is going to be due to the cupseal... also known as the valve stem in the manual. You might just have some dirt on it, or the stem could be bent, or it might just be dead. Try cleaning it up and checking for flaws, and if all else fails contact Evil for a replacement.
Ok, I know what you're talking about now! I jut took it out and the whole thing's plastic?? never seen that before.....well it's bent and is burred....shaved on the side like something is rubbing against it. looks like maybe the recock screw is the culpret?

Hey TheBoss, I'd pay $$$ for a modded alum seal, or info on how to do it. Plastic sucks. Feel like doing a write up? maybe everyone interested can pool like, 5 bucks each and you can write up the plans for us. Or, even better, you could do it for free.
Vegemite is what its all about & Elvis was a backman!!!

I do have it listed on my site now and there is a picture of it. Sorry I don't list these type things for sale quicker but I would rather test them for a month or 2 and make sure they had no problems first.
