Dye C9 Knee Pad advice

So, I bought some Dye C9 Tournament knee pads, cause I was looking for a good pair of knee pads, due to playing soccer for years, my knees aren't what they used to be.

I bought the knee pads cause they offer alot of protection (inch or two above the knee cap, to practically quarter way down your shin). One problem I've had with them though is, whenever I bend my knee, and then straight it again, I get this really large "air bubble" I guess I should say underneath the pad, ontop of my knee cap.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to correct this problem, or is it just something I'm going to have to deal with? I've tried adjusting the placement of the opposite side of the strapping (The piece that rest against my calf, and the back of my thigh) to see if this makes a difference, or helps return the pad to where it should be, but I have yet to see any difference.

Any tips/ideas? Or am I just SOL?

TIA.

Just an idea, wrap 2-3 layers of electrical tape on each end of the pads?

I don't see what wrapping electrical tape around them would do.... Care to explain?
