275lbs +/-
I cant bench to save my life,I workout out alot, but I just cant seem to get anymore then 300 Its embarrassing..and so is my squat, im sticking real bad at 500
so..
bench 300
Squat 500
Deadlift 530
so 1330 really not all that great for a 275 pounder..but i look like im 220-230
any suggestions on the bench?

300 on bench, 405 on squat and 400 on deadlift.

You'd be surprised featherlite. Back in highschool when i played fooball we had one of our o-line guys squatting 600 at 17 years old. 600+ in college is a normal thing, in fact something that is required in some places. One of our defensive backs was lik 5'5 and he was benching 300 at 150lbs of body weight.

So it isnt impossibl.

I never said i did 710, We Rep test at 315, and I repped at 21, using a max chart my predicted max is 710. our S & C coach monitors us so they are all good reps.

No offense, but I don't trust those max charts. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't maxed at a weight until I've actually lifted it.

if you didn't lift it, it's not legit either way, but if you are going to use the chart it's best used in the 3-5 rep range. At that level it will be a good estimate, but when you're doing 21 reps you're merely manipulating the chart to say you have a rediculous max. The chart is not intended to be used that way. Stop lying to yourself.

I didn't say it's impossible to squat 600. I squat 600. I'm fully aware how possible it is. However, you're not doing it until you're doing it.

I realize that 21 reps is a greater demonstration of endurance than strength but I thought I would just state the weight that I used as my max for % lifts. I have never lifted more than 640 (90% of predicted max). So if it makes everyone feel better I will state that my squat max is 640
