haha, I always wondered when something like this would happen.
Im sure it will expand to just some makers of add ons that look like H&K parts, or smalleer manufactureres, like Mil Sig

That was the FILE date, not the court date.
If it is over what I believe it is, H&K has it in the bag. It's a simple matter of the respective judges choose as a punishment.

even the big guys are trying to figure out ways to make more money, why not sue? pretty dissapointed. airsoft and paintball is like free advertisment for H&k. they should sue H&K for money owed for product advertisment!
think about it. you see a bad *** h&k replica airsoft gun or paintball gun, you think about wanting the real deal.

Most people who play paintball are not even old enough to own a real H&K.
This is why you should get expressed permission before you go and rip off another companies design/look. It will only cost you money.

Not all HK firearms are considered class 3.
HK91 is an excellent example, however, they are still $1200+.

exactly. im not saying it MAKES people buy the gun, but puts the name out there.
do billboards REALLY make you buy a cheeseburger from mcdonalds? or do they put the idea in your head to get one.
just trying to make this a 2 sided aurgument, i can see h&k's argument, but they were actually done a favor. none of those companies are producing anything that COMPETES with H&K's market. or does H&K have an airsoft/ paintball line up planned?

The amount of money paintball company's made off the look a like products is not nearly equal to the sales these products made for H&K. If I had a intellectual property and someone else was making money off it I would want some coin. I would also sleep well at night, probly on a nicer bed then I do now.

Eventually companies are going to realize that a "free market economy" does not mean you can freely use other companies design ideas.

theyre not stealing ideas. theyre PAINTBALL GUNS. i dont think someone buying a paintball gun that looks like an MP5 is taking away from H&K's business.
