German 1.SS Panzer Korps Recruitment

ACHTUNG!

We are currently recruiting for our 1.SS Panzer Korps Unit.

What is it you ask?

In real It was one of the Main Armored Units postitioned to counterattack the anticipated Allied landings . the "Korps was composed of three Elite German Panzer Divisions. 2 SS Divisions, the 1.SS PZ Div and the 12.SS Pz Div. The 3rd Panzer Division was The Very well equipeed and trained Panzer Lehr Division.which was made up moslly of Panzer School Training instructiors.

This Korps is considered the reason the allies where stuck near the beachheads from june till mid july.

As it relates to us-

We are a Very VERY well equipped unit that plays hard as a unit to help secure victoryfor the German side. Feldmarschall Pete Has appointed myself as the German Panzer(tank) General this ION. What that means is The German Panzers will be assigned to the Korps. This way they will have good leadership,Support and most of all full time infantry support. the allied Tanks Have never came close to matching us ,and wont this year either.

We have a very good core group of about 40 or so men From various teams.We need a few dozen more players to fill our unit. there will be Perks to this as well such as our anti tank weapon competition(see our forum for info) full time resupply/transport vehicle,Korps camping area, Trigger time in the hotspots all weekend long as well as being part of the only real German unit that plays as a real German Unit. The allies have thier 101st Airborne, but after the first few hours never seem to fight as a unit again.

FYI since we formed this unit last year alot of us have become good friends and played together at other games as well. Skirmish,Strategey plus,West Point ect

I have to put my 2 cents in as well. I'm the capt of the Korporation from Vermont. I'm also Hauptmann(captain) of the 1. Zug of the Panzer Lehr. My team hooked up with Adam last ION and had an absolute blast. We've met some cool guys and become friends. We have played a bunch of other scenarios with Adam and the 1.SS. Playing with them has greatly raised the level of my teams play. Adam's leadership is great and you are sure to be involved in some big time scenario play not just aimless jogs thru the woods burning paint in meaningless firefights. My team and I can't wait to take the field this year!

Real funny. Actually the 12.SS Panzer Division which was part of the 1.SS Panzer Korps Fought for Caen not to long after the landings. the LSSAH division was in Normandy a few weeks after DDAY. they where defending where Hitler thought the "real" Invasion would take place.

These guys are GREAT!
I played with them at I.O.N. last year.
I had a great time and look forward to playing with them again this year.

I was only talking about the 1ss panzer, which didn't arrive until the last week of June. And most of the 12th SS wasn't in Normandy at the time of the landings. The 21st did more in Normandy than the 12th SS. Not to mention the 12th SS wasn't the best of divisions, as most of the "men" were just brainwashed kids who grew up on only nazi propaganda, with little training

this thread wasnt made to argue about where what division was when. its for those who want to join and play with adam and the ss. these guys are great, honest, hardworking players. adam is the best tank commander in the game of paintball and most importantly this is the ultimate scenario groupe out there! so if you are here to argue please leave this thread. otherwise sighn up and see first hand what we can offer

I have to agree with Der Milchmann, Ghost, camo & noah- Adam and his 1SS are the real deal- it's gonna be fun watching the new equipment being fielded this year by The Korps

Nobody puts more effort and enthusiasm into the game than he does- too bad about the mortar rule- regardless it's going to be an awesome game.

As i recall the 12 SS was highly motivated totally fanatical infact. they mauled the canadians on a few occasions. most of their Ncos and Officars where battle hardened vets from the LSSAH. the 21st Panzer was a huge part of the normandy fighting i never said they wherent.

I can't wait to take the field with the 1.SS panzer korp again.....
with our panzers working together flawlessly under one command it will be a rough couple of days for allied armor,
and anyone else who dares stand in our path for that matter.

I think the front bumper on ours weighs more than adams whole tank. lol. If you can flip that over, you outta think about proffesional weight lifting instead of paintball.

It's not the size of the tank but the skill of the gunner that matters. We got the skills and will take out your tanks with solid kills!
