I have asked Smart Parts and they recommended 800 PSI input to an ION. Does anyone know if going Low pressure has some benefits or just stay with High Pressure. I have a 70/4500 High Pressure Pure Energy Tank, it came with a bunch of washers to lower the pressure to 400 PSI

Stick with HP.

Some LP regs have too slow of a recharge rate that can result in drop off at high rates of fire.

No benefits over high pressure. Ions are reccomended to have a high pressure tank because there were tanks being made with a slow recharge rate that couldnt keep up with the gun. As long as the tank has a high recharge rate it will be able to keep up with the gun.
