That's a good question. I would think that if you were to call yourself you would be alright, as long as you aren't the last guy on your team. You would only get bad points if the REF found the hit.

If all the players on the opposing team is eliminated then this rule will apply as well....

during live-player check or prior to the flag being pulled or hung
The reason for this is because if we didn't do it like this, everyone with an obvious hit would keep themselves in the game until all the opposing players are eliminated and then call themselves out before the flag pull with no reprocutions.

I agree with Tim
If I got hit in the pack and did not see it, hear it, or feel it and got a 1-4-1 for it then we would be back where we are now with poor reffing issues.

if its an obivous hit the player should be pulled before the game is over

Very true... in a perfect world that is the case. Unfortunately refs are not perfect and will not see everything and players tend to cheat and not call themselves out when hit... therefore this rule.

Here is just my thoughts. And obvious hit is in the hopper, gun, tank, mask, and the front area and some back areas of the player. For example the legs, arms, feet, and so on any where you can see it or feel it. An in-obvious hit would really only be the pack. Not alot of people know when they get shot in the pack so there for it shouldnt be a penalty at the end of the game for the player with an in-obvious hit. The player should just be eliminated, it is the reffs job to go in during the game to check players for those in-obvious hits. So in my mind a 1v1 shouldnt be assessed after the game for a player with a in-obvious hit (pack only). I know sometimes it is the out come of the game that the player with the in-obvious hit shoots the whole team. But that is why there are reffs to check for those pack hits people cant see or feel.

I agree with him^^^^^

The only place an inobvious hit should be is the pack. Everywhere else you should see or feel the hit. Even the hopper you can usually tell because of the splatter that comes off of it. Most of the time a ref will see the splatter off of a hopper anyways so that shouldn't be a probably there. But like the pack, a lot of the time it can't be seen because there are so many places it can hide.

ummm.... the rule has been changed. re-read the rule in the post on the first page. It reflects all this. I'll get the official rule book updated before the event.

Wait so you hating the haters makes you a hater which makes you hate yourself which in turn makes you a hater of storm which then makes it 92%
