the old impulse was as low as $499, although to get vision and a blade trigger, it was closer to $750-$800...
some PL markers, such as the Planet Eclipse Impulse were around $1k...

Yes, but every marker me make from here on out will have the same barrel threads, hence why we started to call it "Smart Parts Threads"

Parker solenoid. Easy to rebuild and proven to last a long time! We have been using them for years with great success. Why change something that is not broke?! QEV NOT Needed and it is direct mounted. NO HOSES AT ALL! I do not remember how many dynamic seals are on the ram and bolt.

Easier then anything you have ever seen. 1/8" allen wrench will get BOTH regs out at the same time. To disassemble the reg, tap one end and the piston falls out. The other side of the reg will require a pick or snap ring pliers. I built them all in the production prototypes. I was amazed at how easy they are to service.

1 Board. Parker Solenoid
The colors will be changing all the time and the Impulse will be a small run gun.

It is called the board.
The ram is Stainless. Delrin is TOO light for most other poppit valve markers. When I worked at KAPP, we did make a combo for the Timmy. It worked awesome. But with the LPR so low on the Impulse, the stainless does not cause any kick at all. I requested to have an all delrin one made for testing. I think it will work well on this one.

You can use either, but we always recommend High Pressure on all of our guns. The only reason LP tanks were made were due to ICD guns and Angels. Now it has become quite the fad.

Yeah, I know most of the PL Impulses were 900-1400 when they first came out. I was even remembering the impulse at like $650 when it came out or more... But then again, that was like a decade ago. I am lucky to remember last week.

prices then and now....
base imp w/o vision was around $400 retail
base imp with vision was around $550 retail
all of the other signature imps cost anywhere between $750 - $1000+ retail depending on vision or non-vision and exactly which private label you preferred.
comparing those prices to the price of the '09's now, is like comparing the current price of those older imps as opposed to then. these are different times, this is a whole new technology and configuration. if you can't afford one now, wait 5 years and buy one then or fork it over to have the current version.
BTW......thanks sean for resolving some of the missing answers

@ Sean,
How do you gauge the HPR and LPR pressure on the 2009 impulse?

There are no gauges on the gun. As far as setting it all up, it is a poppet valve, so it will be very simple. The balanced valve makes it a lot easier to tune since the pressure going up will NOT effect how quick the valve closes. I still have to see the manual and also play with it myself.
He have checked operating pressure on everything here in house. I am sure it CAN be done.

I know everyone keeps saying @ ChiTown or whatever, but when is the actual date someone might purchase from a retailer?

If it releases at Chi Town, it will be at online retailers just after I am guessing.
