How do I get sharpie off a grill?

I searched and couldn't find anything good. I picked up a pair off a buddy who had sharpied all over it. I didn't mind cause he only wanted $25 but now it's getting on my nerves. How do I get this stuff off?

I use my wife's body spray. It took Sharpie off my doorm room door in collage, and still gets the job done.

^^^ probably cause it contains alcohol - it makes other stuff come off too, but that's another story

OP: alcohol, 'Goof-Off', Acetone...

Also depends on the color of your Grill - white will be harder to clean than say gray.

Good Luck!!

Be careful when using Acetone, it will often times not react well with some plastics and cause a "cracked" look in the plastic.

Yeah, its grey. I'm letting some wd-40 sit on it right now but I'll try rubbing alcohol if that doesn't work
