Ever Make a Grilled Cheese with oil instead of Butter?... Yeah Dont try it.

so my roommates used all my butter and didnt feel the need to replace it or at least say something so when i made a grilled cheese today i had to use vegetable oil instead(really wanted one)

well ya it sucked even more than i thought it would(baddddddd)

tasted almost exclusively like veggy oil and i couldnt even taste the cheese or bread.

this is a rant/warning for anyone who might be tempted to make a grilled cheese this way.just make something else and wait until you have butter

i use a pastry brush and brush olive oil on mine. the whole wheat bread stands up better to it than white bread would though.

I used to make grilled cheeses with olive oil all the time, it adds great flavor

you just suck at cooking enough not to be able to make one of the most basic meals in existence rofl
