NEED HELP big leak

I just traded my ego for a quest and when i tryed to air it up there was a huge leak comming out from the grip frame. So i took of the grip frame and found out that it was comming from right above the solenoid. So does this mean that my solenoid is broke? and if so how would i get it fixed?

Please help.

Could just be the gasket, that or check under the middle bolt oring for a hairline crack. If the bolts cracking it's done for

Sounds like your noid is venting, noid is on too tight, or bolt is cracked.

Check the stickies.

I had the same problem brought it to my shop they said it sounded like it was leaking from the noid brining it back tommorow. Idk if it needs to be replaced or simply adjusted but I'll let you know when I find out.

this is a low cost solution. If its your bolt, it will be about 20 to replace. if its your noid, quests use te same noid as the DM4/5/C. Easy to find and also relatively cheap (I got a spare for about 15 shipped.)

my LPR is also spiking so mine has two problems I'm looking foward to them being fixed. This is the second quest I've hadwith noid problems the 1st I exchaged with the guy that sold it for one that worked so maybe after this is fixed it will be the first time I am shooting a properly functioning quest!

The LPR pressure guage going up isn't necessarily an indication that the LPR is faulty. It can just mean that LP and HP air are mixing inside the marker, which is just down to a leaking o-ring. If the bolt stays back when the LPR pressure is high, then the problem is most likely down to the middle o-ring on the bolt. If the bolt is pushed forwards when the gauge pressure is high, then the problem will be with the second or third o-ring on the pin (counting from the back).

If changing o-rings has no effect, then you may have a faulty Schrader valve in the LPR.

If the LPR overpressure is only when the marker is first gassed up, clears after the marker cycles a few times, and does not come back for the rest of the day, then it most likely means that you have a sticky LPR piston o-ring and/or that the marker is being gassed up too quickly.

Too high a pressure from the LPR (for whatever reason) is most likely the cause of your solenoid leak - the solenoid is just venting the excess pressure.

Do you write this everytime someone has a leak or do you have it saved somewhere and just copy And paste

I really should get around to saving these things somewhere so I can just copy and paste - I've thought about it before, but never got around to doing it - but nope, I type them out. Each one is worded slightly differently.
