Lurker Bolt Question

Is it normal for the Lurker bolt to stay forward? I would assume so due to the spring but wouldn't that interfere with the eye operation? Just assembled my shocker and I want to make sure I have it setup correctly. Bolt seems to cycle fine as I have it. Thanks for any help.

When degassed, the bolt will be in the forward position due to the spring. When aired up, it will suck back and compress the spring to be ready to fire.

Thanks. Didn't even think to look when gassed and now I feel like a dummy.
