Well after much debate we have set up a date and place to play.

Now after the collective groans and cheers I will explain the place and date:
Place: GRESS SOFTBALL COMPLEX
A lot of you wanted to play on grass...hence the softball field.
Bad thing is there won't be any netting set up because we can't put pickets in the field plus now it can be windy as all hell and we don't have to worry about the netting coming down.
Good thing is that there is a hill that we will use as an assembly area for the teams and you will be able to watch the action. Another good thing is if it rains we keep playing on wet grass and not in a muddy rodeo grounds.
We'll have to be extremely carefull about where the test firing goes on and chronographing.
There will be a concession stand open with pop/ hotdogs/ candy etc...but it will be for sale. Budget cutbacks have limited us on a lot of stuff. Even the trophies might be downscaled this year.
Rock30 out of Dickinson is in discussions with us to be the paint supplier for the event. We are negoiating prices and what they will have there. This will be the only paint allowed. For those of you that are mad about this, that is how most tourneys are run. You will have to buy paint at the event and teams will be penalized for using outside paint.
This may be a big issue with a lot of people because of school being in session (both HS and college) but we had only two options. It was either August 22nd or the 19th of September in order to get the softball fields.
We will be running two divisions this year: Open and rookie
We are is discussions to get a certified officiating crew.
It will be semi-auto only! no auto or ramping anymore.
