Well, it's worth a few hundred thousand dollars to ProCaps/Draxxus. To explain:
The Diablo pump gun was made by National Paintball Supply (Before they became KEE in a buyout). It was just an average run of the mill pump gun back in the early 90's. Sold new for probably less than $100.
Then Semiautomatics became the standard and National stopped making the Diablo pump and it was forgotten.
Except, Procaps/Draxxus comes along as a paint manufacturer a few years later starting selling their very successful Diablo brand paintballs and National comes out of left field suing them for trademark infringement because National owned the name "Diablo" for their pump gun they hadn't made in years. National wins (they should, they legally were in the right) , Procaps ponies up some dough, stops using the name Diablo starts calling their paint Draxxus instead (anybody have any idea what the heck Draxxus means?).
Not too much after that, National starts selling paintballs under the name Diablo because why not? Maybe it rubs a little salt in the Procaps wound, maybe calling their new lines of paint Diablo helps them sell because Procaps did a lot of work marketing quality paint under the Diablo brand name, who knows.
So...that Diablo pump gun is worth hundreds of thousands in a sense.
But...it's cash value is probably between $30 and $50.
And everyone on this forum likes to run around calling Smart Parts bad guys because they enforce a legal patent, when National did the same thing a few years earlier. Total double standard.
