I've been through my fair share of PPS markers, as well as CCM, CCI, Carter, etc. I can't speak to the newer models, but Glenn and Craig Palmer are very good at what they do, which is turn out beautiful, solid custom Sheridans. They're expensive and heavy, but some people don't have a problem with this because they're just awesome guns. PPS is also doing very well in the woodsball/recball market; seems like everyone and their mother has some kind of Stabilizer on their A5 now, which is a good upgrade when running CO2.

For the record, I have in the house now a Pug and a Palmerized minicocker...but also an S6, SS25, and a Buzzard. All great guns from three fantastic companies, just a little different in their execution. PS. Phantoms are great too, just don't happen to own one right now to round out the stable haha...

If I were you I would scavenge MCB and eBay for a used PPS gun.

PPS markers are good value for what they are and, frankly, extremely well made.

I've shot several, seen many more and owned a 2K Blazer, BZ2581.
With good paint and dual-stabilizers, I saw +/-0fps over the chrono, could one-ball people from 100' and shoot someone from 15' away completely silently. Awesome marker.

Make sure you post a proper string, not like 2 or 3 balls. 20 balls would be ideal but I'd be surprised if you could even pull 10. Heck I'd be surprised if you even pulled 5.

The other day i shot 273, 274, 275, 276, 277. Not as impressive as +/- 0 for 5 shots in a row, but just as cool.
