Trance/House/Minimal Mix, feedback and suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Jes/Solarstone- Like a waterfall-Fo sho!

william orbit- ogive (could be intro.).. maybe

GUI BORATTO - MOLESTADO-Def!

orjan nilsen - prison break... maybe

Gui Borrato-Mr.Decay (Rebert Babicz remix or orginal- both good in different ways.)- fo sho

Andy Moor - Fake Awake (The Blizzard remix) full mix- Or original- it seems better.-Def fo sho!

Gui Borrato- Molestado

Gui Borrato- No turning back

Faithless - We Come 1- Most def! Some crazy ****.

Robert Miles - Gorillaz - Children AMV

All of the titles you can copy and paste into youtube to get the exact version I'm talking about. The gorillaz one has that in the title because they used their music video which I thought was an exceptional fit for the song. Anyways, feedback will be much appreciated!

I'm mixing all of these songs into one using turntables. I was just looking for opinions on my song choices, and looking to see if anyone could suggest anythign with a similar feel.

Yes, I can mix. I'm not trying to compete with anyone, claim I'm better than anyone, or insult anyone whatsoever. I'm not looking for drama..

edit: I'm just looking for feedback or opinions on the songs, everyone on here treats everything like a competition or something..

When you mix you are supposed to figure out what tracks you are going to play, that's the whole the point of DJing. Figure out what you like, what your style is and go with it.

I'm just pointing out that song selection is hardly useful if we have no idea how proficient you are mixing things.

It's like asking a blind man to grade a diamond.

I know all of this, please... Let me give you an example of what I'm trying to say. Pretend I just played a show for you and a group of people, and you were talking about it afterwards.. You wouldn't be saying this. Get it? Not trying to be rude.

Cmon man, please. Stop being so annoying. I can mix very well, so just go off of that.

Then go ahead and do the mix and let us listen... I'm not trying to be rude I'm just still not understanding why you want us to listen to the tracks separately.

I'm not being annoying, I'm making a valid point. I don't know if you know how to beatmatch worth a damn, much less blend one song into another. Your word isn't worth anything, because I've never heard anything you've ever done.

Just to get a feel for the style and emotion that would come out of it. I'm also looking for good track suggestions of similar styles and feels. Most good songs are found by word of mouth from my personal experience, so posting on a forum with a lot of people seems like a good way to possibly find more good music.

Well since you can't get past this issue, then assume I can.

edit: Just stop being so picky and go with it.

1) Why would you have faith in a forum?
2) The list looks fine, go mix it and come back with the finished product.
3) Why the hell do you want us to critique a list of songs done by other people?

1) I had faith that someone on here would be reasonable.
2) Thank you
3) Because I want to see what people think of that group of songs being mixed together.

Then mix them together how you want, not how we want, then post the mix.

Ok, I done explaining this **** to you guys. You know what I'm trying to say, stop trying to **** with me I really don't care just trying to share my musical taste, see if anyone else has a similar music taste, and if they have any song suggestions, I would love to hear them.

We're not ****ing with you, we're saying that it doesn't matter what the songs are. I could mix the Barney, Power Rangers, and Tellitubbies songs together and get a damn good vibe out of it.

back before the internet and mp3 files, dj's used to distance themself from the pack by finding new music that they liked, it was from this that djing became an artform, hence why you followed some house dj's but not all.

you picked your dj's depending on the music they played, not the music you suggested that they played.

hope this helps you because there are 50000000000000 other people that can dj as well.
