Bayou Dragon is still open. The field currently caters to scenario/woodsball players and will probably continue its focus there unless Venom starts playing again. Without a hometeam supporting and caretaking of an airball field it isn't feasible to have one.
I might try to rebuild Venom again sometime soon. I graduated college and have a job with steady funds, so I am looking to make a comeback; not sure what the rest of the guys want to do. (Guess I might be willing to fill in with a few teams to shake the rust off, you never know.)
To T14: Yes, Bayou Dragon does also have a shooting range for firearms. It has since 1994 and paintball since 1996.
Hope this clears things up a bit.

Come on I know you guys from venom can help get this going again, I would be willing to go out there and help clean up that field, cut the grass or whatever. Anything to get speedball back. Like exrated34 said LA needs more paintball teams, cant have a team if the closest field is an hour away in covington..
