my dream omen/setup would be:
-Omen some sort of milling w/ dark red to black fade anno
-Pipe barrel kit, red tip 12" or 14"
-low rise, a twister or demonic annoed to match the fade
-A new trigger frame, like an eblade, vert frame, or clamshell-like frame
-higher flow bolt/valve
-lighter hammer
-new board
-macroline(lol)
-03 conquest 68/45
I don't know what kind of performance difference the lpr would make so I didn't add one.

the lpr wont really have any performance affect, itll just keep the same pressure for recocking even if u adjust the velocity. its more of a luxury feature if put on a omen.

i chose the stiffi cuz i only shoot chronics or allstars, which fit the .689 perfectly, and also cuz ive only seen one at the field and i want something unique while ive seen pipes and freaks everywhere.

Yes there is Sniper hit it right, you would not have to adjust it while you adjust the velocity, plus it may even get the efficiancy better. I'd be installing a soda can

Man, what I'd like to see evil come out with for the omen is a frame shaped like the spaceframe, or OTB, or I-frame. Forget the standard .45 grip frame, you gotta love the smoother lines of the shell stylez. Plus, this swelling bolt sounds problematic, maybe a super hi-quality, monster flow open face superbolt that never swells.

ALL delrin bolts swell in the heat, it's one of the few downers they have VS metal bolts.

what i think would be nice is a standard .45 frame so you could put standard grips on

I can't see how an LPR would work, it would be like putting one on a Piranha or spyder, it just wont function.

You need to provide a burst of air to the hammer, how do you plan on accomplishing this?

you're wrong there - the quality of the delrin has a lot to do with how it reacts to heat, oil or water

I do still believe that ALL of them swell, but it's the quality of the delrin that deturmines on HOW MUCH it swells

well, considering Delrin is used as a replacement for metal bearings, I can't see heat being a performance factor. In fact, delrin is stable to 200F

Nylatron, on the other hand, may be the next step. But both materials have a problem with the cold from CO2 (not heat)

It's oil that makes unfilled delrin swell. Paintball fill being oily by nature will make the bolt swell... so its important to clean on the rare occassion you have a break in the barrel or breech.

The problems of the gun not being to recock correctly due to sunlight and heat is more likely the expansion of the gun body thus constricting the tubes to some extent... My gun has gotten so hot before that it wouldn't recock properly, I took out the bolt assembly to examine it and had a hard time squeezing that thing back into the marker. After letting it cool down again I no longer had recock issues.
