JT paint is the 2nd worst paint i have ever used!!!!
right behind point blank

besides the beautiful seamless design of the JT paint.
it is very hard to break, and possibly even dangerous from my experience(it is possible that i got a bad batch though, i doubt it though).

i was shooting at a log 5 feet away with my old cocker at 280fps
and the balls weren't even breaking they we're ricocheting off of it like a bullet!!!

it sucks

I'm pretty sure its the same shell as the new RP Advantage. I had close to the same experience with the new All Star.

i stopped playing with RP since they switched over i bought some and it broke everywhere chops left and right so maybe they changed the formula a bit and made the shells less brittle...who knows

i was using Point Blank a few days ago.
and it was actually not too bad(but then, the timi can shoot any paint really)

but the point blank was breaking pretty well (no bounces)

i was satisfied with the point blank

I had zero problems with JT paint in 2 cases........It broke every time on players. I can't even squeeze it through bushes at all.....it always breaks.

The jt paint my local store had seemed really hard too. I don’t thing their going to carry it.

i played with steel for a day ( i also bought a case for testing) but itz the top of the line point blank and it just broke way to easy man! even in my Matrix with the trinity barely cycling it it would break them all up...and it sucks too cause they have the best fill i have ever seen in a paintball. if they can make the shell just a bit harder and keep that fill i would say they are the best ball out so far..the fill really is just some sick a** ****, much thicker then hellfire.

Hey carlo I bought some of their green house paint and it has the steel fill!! I got a bunch for a private game for my church but I didnt try any. It looked pretty consistant and its super cheap. You should pass by XS and try some or I can get you a case if we ever meet up.
Are you going to caljam? Im going to try and go saturday, maybe we can meet up and say hi.

whatz up july? what's the name of the house paint and is it as brittle as the STEEL is? i won't make it to caljam i haven't even played in 1 1/2 months. i thought the post office lost my Matrix so that got me down then i have been planning my boy's b-day party but we will definitly have to meet up sometime

how about Kick'n paint? i was thinking of trying some out but always seem to get mixed reviews about the stuff. anyone here ever play with it if so what does it compare to especially the Metallix since that seems to be there top of the line....thanx

Their house paint is called house paint. I think the shell was a normal hardness not brittle at all. Its like legends shell with steel fill. They are pretty small bore some of them roll through my CP pro barrel. They are about $30 a case, a good deal.
Im hoping to get a dye mask at caljam and some other cool stuff. Ive been eying the matrix lately but now Im looking at the ephantom.

thats the thing about paintball if ya don't follow it like a hawk you miss out, i haven't done so for a month or so and look what happens...whats the ephantom? is it something new or have i just been blind? where can i get info on it?

The ephantom is just a phantom with custom electronics to make it an electro .It only shoots 10bps but phantoms are so acurate. Im also looing at the excalibuy after firing one at caljam today. They sold out of dye masks I wanted one so bad.

hey i shoot STEEL all the time and i never break paint. Now, this maybe because I shoot a freak but i love it. And it also smells really good. There are a couple of guys at my local field that shoots nothing but the JT paint. It is probally the most accurate shooting paint i have ever shot in my life, but it hardly ever breaks. Another thing is, I personally hate that it is yellow. I don't know about you but i can stand out in the open and dodge this paint all day long......

i play with a freak and OTP g3 and had nothing but breaks...what insert do you use? i checked to see if maybe i had a bad batch but they were 2 different cases from from too different batches also the 500 ball bag i bought to try them out were also broke quite often. any suggestions as i really dig the fill this paint offers? thanx

I suggest you try the house paint! Ive never had problems with it either, not one break. With a ball break with those, your done. I had a few breaks testing the limits of my rev and one ball break and I had to take aprt everything. Happened 3 times and took forever to clean. The fill is mind boggling. I had a ball break with the orange house paint(which Im pretty sure has the steel fill like the green) so I straight shotted it and when I pulled it out, all the paint stuck to the squeegie!! There was a bunch of it too just haning out there like

hey i use the 689 insert on my freak(the blue insert) and i never break. Now, don't go using the insert if it doesn't fit because i live in a different climate then you and by the time are paint gets to each other then its probally a different size like at a tourney i was at this weekend, somebody was shooting STEEL and they had the purple insert in....that had meant their paint must have shrunk as in I was using the 689 blue insert with no problems.

i was using .687 on my freak and it was a tad too large for the ball

july~ as usual we'll be missing each other again i have my son this weekend but i am gonna try a bunch of new paints out shortly:

1- House paint
2-kick n metallix
3-adrenaline
4-anarchy (heard nothing but good about this stuff)
5- JT's new paint even though it has an advantage shell

At a tourney last Saturday while chronographing players, I took a few of the JT Paintballs and lobbed them very slowly at bunkers.

All of them broke, everyone was amazed.
