Best Place to purchase?
I really don't feel like fixing my Quest's body right now, and would assume it might be cheaper/easier to buy another. So I thought I would ask the owners group, where would be the best place to buy a replacement body? new or used, whatever, I'd just like to toss some paint through it sometimes.
I ask because I really haven't seen any for sale in the classifieds, maybe I am not looking in the right spots tho?

critical sells 07's for either $250 or $150. You can almost just buy another gun at that price, what did you do to the body anyway?

i didn't do it, the previous owner stripped out the front reg mount area where the screw would screw in... if there isn't a more cost effective alternative, it can sit in the gear bag

You could re-tap it to fit the next size screw or helicoil it for a lot less than the cost of a body

that was the original plan until i got the body, the hole itself is basically destroyed and there is nearly no wall thickness left with the air channel

well i could be welded up and redrilled and tapped. any competent machine/weld shop should be able to do it for under $50.obviously there would be no anno there but it sounds like you have bigger issues than that. got a pic of it?

haha, duct tape would be ftw if it would hold it in place enough and tight enough to seal... thanks for the link, i posted in the thread.
i would love to have this gun up and running, i liked how they shot when i tried one last year
