How do you think Obama is doing so far?
Please answer the poll, and elaborating would be excellent too.

Nothing outstanding, but nothing horrid. It's too early to tell how his presidency is going to work out in the long run.

That hypocrite smokes two packs a day!
I'm not thrilled with him but I guess it could be worse. He's got a lot of stuff to deal with.

So you're dad is a hypocrite for smoking two packs a day?
It's his life, if he wants to smoke then I really don't care... personally I would find it amusing if Castro sent him up a few boxes of Cuban cigars to smoke...

Poor planning, fluffy rhetoric and a failure to reach out towards the ideals he set before the people that voted for him.
In conclusion, the perfect politician.

Meh. He's done a couple things I like but I've been mostly unimpressed, as I figured I would be.

Who exactly is he a puppet of?
Obama certainly isn't like Bush and our most powerful president ever: Dick Cheney... wait... he was VP... ****, I guess nobody ever told him.

Like all presidents before him he promised a lot and hasn't done much at all. GM is failing despite their attempts but will reemerge later on because they will use this chance to regroup and streamline themselves. Then the Dems will come out claiming the bailouts were helpful when they really didn't do jack ****. Same can be said for the spendulous bill despite most of it being an easy way to inflate the pockets of politicians.

You should really go back to school and learn some reading comprehension. Americans wanted 'hope' and 'change' and he offered it; so they bought into it, whether it was the right thing to do or not is still debatable.

Its debatable wether or not we should pick "a president who knows nothing and talks about hope and change" or "a president with far more experience and intellegence"? Well obviously we should pick the guy that looks good. You know what they say. You can always judge a book by its cover. Wait a minute...
