S-Rail

I was given a smart parts S-Rail. What asa's do they go with cause... staring at it, I'm pretty sure its not going to fit my CP Direct mount on/off.... Is it ONLY for the Dovetail asa from smartparts?

Like he said any dovetail asa will work. I would recommend a CP. I would not recommend NDZ or Smart Parts. The NDZ's works great but I have broken one. That being said I have one on my gun (bought used) and so far so good.

I already have the CP Direct mount ASA, which doesn't fit the S-Rail. Would the regular cp asa fit on the s-rail? It would be good to bring the tank in closer so I can tuck in the gun some more.

Easiest was to find out would be to just take the rail to the hardware store and find some that fit.

Try threading a frame screw in it, if it fits then they're 10/32.

All the screws that you should have needed should have came with your S-Rail. You should have gotten 2 that go into the frame and 2 set screws that go into the rail to tighten the asa on. Which ones are you missing?

I was given the S-rail, I never bought it so it never came with screws D: The asa I just bought only came with the ASA, nothing else... So I guess I'm missing all 4? The screws for the direct mount asa is way too long.

Well that's all ASAs come with typically so it's whoever gave you s-rail's fault that they did give you everything you needed. Obviously it seems that you're missing the screws to put it onto the frame. There should be 2 holes with a set screw in each on one of the sides.

I got the rail and cp on/off onto my gun, but after a long day of play, I turned the knob a little too hard....

So... is this ok? Is this fixable?
