There are actually only 5 teams paid. The 8 pro teams don't pay entry. It is not looking good.

I wonder if the MAO being a couple weeks prior put a financial strain on the teams.

Why is there so much fear surrounding the USPL? I mean, sure, they're new as a league, but the people running the show know how to put together an event. The same rumors were swirling pre-HB, when the registration page only had a handful of teams. I don't like the speculation going on, especially when a paintball news site makes the arguement, while refusing to accept the well known fact that many teams sign up and pay as late as possible, especially with MAO taking place this weekend.

Will wait and see. The guys at X3 know their stuff, but this just boggles my mind...

jus wait.....people need to realize that this is more of a regional event then anything....so naturally its not going to have an insane amount of teams attending...if the uspl can get 60 teams there...i think that this event would be a success....you cant ask for too much with the current economic situation and then the fact that theres so many events happening right now...MAO being the biggest

either way i believe the event is going to happen. They still have the pro's who are going to play no matter what.

the pros own the league. if nobody signs up they will lose TONS of money by holding the event.

so on the website they have boston listed, the press release says only 4 events this year, im assuming that means no boston?
