Universal healthcare
You know, all the stuff that Obama says he's going to do over and over again. Get out from under that rock.
|
I am sorry but the last entity I want running health care is the government. I have spent my fair share of time in goverment run health facilities and let me tell you what. It sucks! They run it like everything else, meaning they jack it up from the deck up. You really want them screwing over the healthcare system?

The problem with Iran is that you are trying to wage politics against an archaic, conservative religion. We all know how those battles end up.
The problem with North Korea is that Kim Jong-Il is just stone bat **** crazy. You can't reason with insanity.
And for the torture, or "enhanced interrogations" as the PC term goes, if it continues to help thwart attacks on innocent people, I say ripping one of a taliban fighter's nipples off is a small price to pay to stop a major attack on a populated city, weather it be New York, LA, London, Paris, etc...

No, you are very wrong. 'We' are trying to 'wage' politics with a nation controled by fanatical fundamentalists... Islam is a more modern religion (age wise) than both Judaism and Christianity and has the same basis as both of the other major western religions.
Religious 'conservatism' (fundamentalism is right word) is the core issue, in Iran, the US, and Israel... we have just as many crazies as them; just ours have been kept (sort of) out of power.

He's a paranoid totalitarian dictator... they tend to get that way.

Despite the fact that torture is a hit or miss tactic? Chances are the intel you will be 'extracting' from the 'suspects' (no Gitmo detainee has been sentenced for a crime) is false or exaggerated so as to stop the pain.
Also: What's stopping our government from torturing American citizens? The law? Ha, you pissed all over that already so why should anyone get special treatment if it 'prevents' a terrorist attack?
Your thinking is what brings nations into totalitarianism and despotism.

Meanwhile, as a Knight of Hannity I propose more tax-cuts. To say otherwise is fascism or socialism or whatever.

The only positive thing about Arlen Specter in PA is that he is a Philadelphia sports fan, other than that.......

Uhh... Democracy is rule by the people, so their really wouldn't be parties because everyone would be voting for themselves. At least not in the sense that parties exist today.

Ahh, that made sense.
It would be interesting to study media effects on the public voting in a true democracy.

I worded it poorly, sorry about that.
Judging from what I see they have the ability to do in a Republic the media would basically control the outcome of just about every election they wanted.

funny how everytime a dem wins this phenomenon is suddenly what everyone talks about, when republicans win its just an odd thing that sometimes happens but never to the right wing gods.
