Lightbulb Healthy Food to Eat

Lets face it, most of us diet once in awhile. So instead of threads like fried oreos and stuff like that, lets post stuff thats healthy, easy, and good to eat. (please dont say subway, its really not that healthy)

I like to eat a peice of wheat toast with cottage cheese for snacks. Between meals.

Or straight up oatmeal and peanut butter.

I don't believe I've had anything healthy in my system for a long time. Can't wait to go home.

I just ate 2 pieces of Ezekiel bread with some buckwheat honey on it. Toasted, of course. It was delicious.

Quit drinking whatever crap you drink and drink water... much healthier for you and cuts out a lot of unnecessary calories.

Actually, too much fruit is bad for dieting. Here is my full time diet:

-lots of veggies and salads. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing or olive oil and lemon dressing.
-lean protein: white chicken, salmon, tuna, tai, yellow tail tuna, turkey, fillet Mignon once a week or less.
-skim milk
-1% chocolate milk after work out
-whey isolate protein powder and bars (150 cals, 35 G of protein)
-only drink water and Perrier with lime/lemon. Sometimes I'll have a gatorade G2 if I'm on the golf course or playing football.
-organic peanut butter
-no processed cheese, or much cheese for that matter
-no mayo or ketchup
-a fruit a day
-whole grain cereal and/or fibre 1 bar for breakfast.

I'm leaving some stuff out, but this is generally how I eat. I have one bad meal a week where I allow myself to go out and eat whatever I want, its not usually a bad meal either since I really enjoy going to high end restaurants. If I have to eat out, I make whatever I order healthy. I also eat sashimi for dinner about twice a week.

I'm not trying to sound all PETA on you I really don't care about that. But would you want your chicken sitting in a cage its whole life. Or would you want it having a natural life fed right? Besides once you cook it most of the nutrients are gone anways. *******.

And just drink lots of water. Drink like 1.5oz before every meal or something. Most people are dehydrated.

Um... there's a lot more to organic food than that. Organic produce for example would be grown without chemical based herbicides, pesticides, etc...

You'll be fine if you eat non-organic food. Please don't turn this into a debate about organic vs. non-organic.

hurrrd that.

I am a protein nut.

If you are looking for a snack, I dice up some radishes and green onions and mix it into some lowfat cottage cheese with some salt and pepper.
I used to HATE cottage cheese, but after having it served like that, I can eat it.
