we all hate them. Problem is they use their own threading, that means no aftermarket feedneck for another gun will work. When the guys at FEP get everything set up (which should happen soon) they can start cranking out newer, smaller feednecks.

How do you remove the feedneck? Do I have to turn it right or is it lefty?

Anti-clockwise.
If you have tried that already and it didn't come loose, then you'll most likely find that it is held in place with threadlock.

Yes, it is very tight. So tight that it made me believe it opens the wrong way Still working with it...

two suggestions -
take the collar off and place a thin allen wrench in between the fingers on the feedneck. use that as a lever. Also, use a hairdryer and blast the threads with some heat to help loosen the thread lock.

Or, as an alternative suggestion, until you have identified an alternative feed neck, leave well alone!

What you could actually do, having removed the feed neck, is get it turned down so that you just have a single diameter tube - same diameter as at the bottom of the feed neck - and then attach a clamp on feed neck to that tube, Ego style.

lol they wouldnt. the market isnt good enough to make a feedneck for a 2+ year old gun.
ego or BL feedneck mod is the best, or you can custom thread a different feedneck

Are the threads just worn or totally gone? Can you screw the neck in at all? Does the neck fit despite the threads not holding?

I release information when I am told I may do so. I mentioned it before, but posting a picture was not an option. More information to come please do not ask for prices or purchase information as I will have to fwd the thread to Hobby to be shut down.
