Performance of Electro-phantom...
i would like to know the performance of your E-Phantom.ive seen your work Punisher and im very very impressed.your a real handy man.also, could u tell me where i can find a CCI carbon fiber barrel?they look very nice and i like light weight.and would u be able to ano it blood red and have a chrome wrap around grip?like with the evo-cockers(the picture that is,no one uss wrap arounds on a cocker...).
and for anyone else who reads this...tanks for not really ever giving me a royal bashing like they did in the AGD forum...just because i said mags and cockers both have retained the same design and to say a mag is outdated would be to say a cocker is.you guys have the best tempers.thanks.

performance.....
It's been really a pleasant surprise finding out just how well it really will perform. I know the gun would shoot good......it's a Phantoms ya know! However, I'm thrilled with the end result.
There were some specific areas I wanted to pay special attention to, shootdown was the biggest. With a little majik, the valve will recharge pretty well. On HPA it's a non-issue. The other was reliability. I wanted to keep the system as simple as I could.
In short, it shoots fairly quickly.....as in 10-11 bps if you're really honkin' on it! Not bad for a gun that according to several " Authorities" couldn't be built!
As for the CF barrel. There's only a few in circulation, mine being one of probably 4 or 5 total having been released. It's cool to know Mike personally and live within 20 miles of him and CCI! I'll sell you mine, but my price will bring tears to your eyes.....

being the handy man you are Punisher.....could u set a RT valve on to take care of most shootdown cases?RT valves are relativley simple and very reliable, they just have to be broken in!and try me with the CCI barrel hehehe.

The R/T valve from AGD is a great one, but unfortunately not applicable to the Phantom.

PC, hows that email coming along? I saw that you have #2 for sale. i would like to see pics and a price on that one if you want to include that in the email.
How fast can the solenoid cycle? I guess id doesnt really matter since the valve cant hadle more than 10-11 bps. Is there a cap on ROF?
When you get a chance to send me an email i have some questions about my bushmaster(2000) too

is it possible to leave the electronics off and still use it as a pump?
Is it possible to have a safety like button or something to keep the autotrigger on resulting in a fully electronic trigger switchable to a mechanical/electronic trigger?
Can you mill the bottom of the grip to accept rail mount systems?
Whats the average turn around time?
What kind of maintenace does it require?
Does it come with a certifcate of authenticity?
Maybe you should have an in depth FAQ so people like me would stop bothering you?
If you were a hot dog and you were starving would you eat yourself?
Thanks

july_favre :
is it possible to leave the electronics off and still use it as a pump?
Punisher: Yes, with some additional parts.
Is it possible to have a safety like button or something to keep the autotrigger on resulting in a fully electronic trigger switchable to a mechanical/electronic trigger?
Punisher: No. The problems with using it that way is two-fold.
1) the actual firing would be on the trigger return.
2) unless your A/T is tuned correctly, you'll see drastic drop off cue to the hammer releasing too soon.
Can you mill the bottom of the grip to accept rail mount systems?
Punisher: I can do anything!
Whats the average turn around time?
Punisher: 'Bout a hundred years! It really depends on the workload in the shop at the time of order......
I've got some long standing projects, but the average is about 8-12 weeks.
What kind of maintenace does it require?
Punisher: Nothing unusual, just keep it's nose clean and feed it paint&air on a regular basis.
Does it come with a certifcate of authenticity?
Punisher: Hmmm, Not a bad idea..........You do get a warrenty, does that count?
Maybe you should have an in depth FAQ so people like me would stop bothering you?
Punisher: Yes, I should. If I only had the time to dedicate to it!
If you were a hot dog and you were starving would you eat yourself?
Punisher: Jeez! That's kinda personal isn't it?
