Pepsi Throwback
So it came to my attention today that Pepsi has released two new products in the US, called Pepsi Throwback and Mountain Dew Throwback (not pictured)
They're on an 8-week release trial. If sales go well enough, they might make it a standard product.
Basically, it's Pepsi and MD made with natural sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.
It took me a few stores to find it, but I checked the Jewel behind my place when I got home, and they're stocked up.
It definitely tastes a lot different. Not as sweet as normal Pepsi, which I think is a good thing.
Your teeth don't feel like they're going to rot out after a can.
Mountain Dew also good. They're both a little more bland than the normal, but in a good way.

I might try to find some of the MtDew.
every year at passover I always buy a bunch of the yellow capped coca-cola bottles since it's made with cane sugar.

The mexican markets have had cane sugar coke and pepsi since... ever.
Cool their mass producing it though, I'll pick some up just to see if I like it.

Just purchased the Mountain Dew Throwback. You can get it at Walmart if nowhere else. Haven't drank it yet.

I've already had two cans today. It's great because it doesn't give you that kind of gross feeling in your mouth that soda can give you. It's really mild and smooth. Hard to resist.

At the same time, it will still spike insulin, unfortunately.

I bought one of each, they're ok.
Pepsi had a bit of a cinnamony bite to it.
Mountain Dew seemed more like a Sierra Mist..

You can't expect them to be phenomenally different.

I didn't, that's why I was surprised that they actually are.

Ah, I wouldn't say that it's much different. Just a bit more pleasant. Whereas I used to compare Dew's taste to cleaning products, this is more nectar-like.
