i was looking hardcore for good deals on quests and over a 3 week period these are the price listings i found for quests.

**These are based on my opinions of what i thought were fair asking prices, and what other people were asking. so kinda like a happy medium...

bone stock OG= 150-240 (i just got another one for 150)
OG with Ups (tooless pin & GM bolt & maybe custom anno) = 240-280
07 quest depending on ups.. = 280-350
Jacksonville quest = 300+

hope that helps...

I'm the guy that bought the green to black quest for 325. I think the reason that people lowball is cause they have either never heard of/never seen one/never shot one. When i take it out some people are like 'wow is that a quest? how do you like it?" and others ask me "what the f@&K is that? I've never seen one of those". Kinda cool either way. Everyone seems to want the newest gun out there and instead of buying a good slightly older gun, they spend the same amount of money on a brand new piece of junk. My group www.yespaintball.com has a couple quest users and we all love them...i'd just take em to the field and let people try em out.

Oh yea..i almost bought the red to black one too.

you can buy new 07's for $500 now so $300 doesn't seem too far off for a used one.

yeah i would have to say its one of my favorite guns i've ever shot. I've got a deadly wind on mine and it hits ball on ball every shot no matter what paint i stick in there. Runs at 70 psi, very very little kick. A tad heavier than some newer stuff but unless you're 6 years old with pansy arms it shouldnt be a big deal.

I've been thinking about picking up a used Redz kit. They have such long backs. I don't understand why more barrel manufacturers don't understand that longer control bore = better performance.

i dont know how much the redz kits cost but i got my deadly wind from a friend for 60 bucks nd already had freak inserts from my other gun...the barrel is amazing. If you can find one cheap like i did i'd do that over anything else, plus it takes a good amount of weight off the gun.

Really? Wow, I thought SLY barrels had like 1" backs lol. A CF barrel with a 7-8" back would be pure win.

EDIT: Nm, I just checked it out and saw that they're only 6". Most decent barrels have 5-6" backs. I've been trying to look for one with something longer. Like Redz, the newer Kaners, and older PL Scepters.
