Recommended MMORPG/RPG?

So, Diablo II is like 10 years old and I need something else to do to take up some time. Now, I have tried Anarchy Online Demo and Hellgate:London Demo and neither were very good IMO. What would you guys recommend? I prefer single player, but if it is online only I might still look into it. Now remember, the last RPG I played was Diablo II, so if you think I should play an RPG, it doesn't have to be new.

Think your PC can handle The Witcher?

Indeed!

CoH/CoV is a really fun game. I enjoyed my time with it, only wish I had money to play it again.

There's going to be a new superhero MMORPG in 2009, FYI. Looks good to me.

Yeah,
The best part is Cryptic Studio's, who made COV/COH, is making Champions. They sold COH/COV to NCSoft, the publisher, and now they're working on Champions. MS cancelled the Marvel MMO they were working on, so they can't use that stuff, but they 100% own the game engine they built for the Marvel MMO so they're using that for Champions.

I can't wait!

If you can get a beta key for mythos.. you need to play it. Its so much fun if you also have a group of friends playing, if not, its still a blast. It is pretty much D2 except with graphics upgrade and more refining. PvP isnt implemented yet but it will be within the next 3 weeks.

Theres a game made by the team who made Hellgate and Diablo II called Mythos. Its currently in closed beta, but open should start within 2 weeks. IT feels alot like Diablo, same type of gameplay. I find it pretty fun, spent a few hours on it so far. It still needs alot of balancing and such, but its turning out pretty nice. http://www.mythos.com/ screenies at the bottem of the page. If you dont want to wait until open beta, then try the mythos guru site and try for an invite.

edit: Also, this game is going to be free from now until, and through launch. I think it works on micro-transactions for things like guilds, better items, crafting stuff etc that you would pay a small amount for. But you dont have to pay anything.

Titan Quest.

SO much like Diablo 2 except there is a possible 45 classes with expansion.

It's basically a Greek/Roman Diablo 2.
