invert mini and high pressure tanks

hey guys....im looking to get a lighter, "peanut" tank for my mini...i am currently running a 92/4500 crossfire...not exactly the smallest thing

Can the Mini run a HP tank?? I've heard their were problems with blown solenoids, any truth to this?

no it works fine, but if your looking at a new tank you should get a LP one.

HP tanks can be hard to screw in, you should get a thread saver or dry fire when you screw it in.

I run both lp hp tanks with no problems I recommend lp its easier on the asa threads and I also have a mid psi 450-650 psi tank By guerrilla air their service is the best I had a problem with tank they resolved and they paid for shipping both ways

Its a higher pressure coming out
So it makes it a little hard to screw in all the way for some people...

The Mini doesn't have an on/off asa so the air pressure can make it hard to screw in and unscrew your tank. If you find it to be a problem you can always get an inline on/off. Also if you read your manual it will tell you that LP is recommended but you can use HP just fine.

they take take some extra torque to get in there unless you dry fire or have a thread saver because of the higher output. so I and other people in here will suggest that if your purchasing another tank get a LP

Yeah, without an on/off, that is.
