Concussion- I saw several players run down tape to bunker someone in the opposing team's red or alpha, and have to much forward momentum to stop themselves before the rope/pole, whatever was there, and end up running into the rope, which could cause tripping with the aftermath of a mask falling off or a player's equipment/bone being broken. In my opinion, a live player crossing the plane of the deadbox is deemed out of bounds, and should be pulled, since the deadbox is a boundary on its own.
It's whatever, just suggesting.

Sounds like your guys need to learn how to line up and run to their bunkers

i was fine with it, alrhough i did lose hoppers of paint all day on acount of me hitting it on the spin. but its just one of those things, you need to adapt to the field. you arnt going to plant grass near a bunker the day of a tournament. just dont slide there. and tbh i would lawl so much if someone did what you suggested.

I will look into what can be done to make it better, this is the second year that we have played events on that field and we haven't had any problems with that as of yet thanks for your input

i concur with pmrplayer *shudders* . I didn't like the pvc pipes and ropes next to the deadbox, matter of fact most of L.O.D. was complaining about it throughout the day. Didn't effect play really...just got in the way with the barrelbag drop, getting into the deadbox, and a little bit on the break

What is red and alpha? I hate when teams assume everyone knows their codes.

Im one of the big guys who actually plays all spots on the field. I never have issues making it out to a corner or into the snake but the only time i have hit a pole on the break was at cup last year when i twisted my ego8 running out to the snake corner. Never at a GFOA

the way i see it about the narrow field, if you are a good paintball player you should be able to play any field. i know it sucks but its something that will make the games faster and alot more fun. and i think if a d5 player is so good he cant play on a field that is to narrow he/she should bump up and play d4. im not trying to be an a** but thats how i feel about it. and if you've ever played mesa you know the fields could be any type of field. so i think its not to bad.

I don't think bumping up to a higher division changes the field size..only if you change formats.

im just saying that a player thinks there so good that they can play only one size field then they should bump up. and yes i do agree that the field is cluttered on one side but it should make it more fun to play. i like thing to be different and harder thats what makes it fun.

I would like to go back to the old days of not releasing the field layouts and the teams show up early to walk the fields and it would matter about fields size then , when I first started playing there would be 4 diff layouts and ya had to walk each field and figure out the best way to play that field , to me that's true 5man kids these days are spoiled with the releasing of fields early so they can practice on them weeks before the event , as far as the fields being the same for both, beg and rookie /open fileds will be the same to please the masses , so the can go to any field that has the layout up and play or scrimage any level team . Good luck to all teams playing the event and we'll see ya there
