too late - larry williams & johnny watson (just a ton of up-tempo old-school goodness)
one step beyond - madness (i flew to england last year to madstock. they opened with it and everyone just broke loose)
anjalee - lucero (gotta be careful with this one. theres a southern rock band named lucero and a south-american 80's pop star named lucero. unless you're a fairy, you want the southern rock.)
shadows of tomorrow - madvillian (off madvilliany. the other cut's beat is just chimes)
board up the house - genghis tron (amazing electro/prog/hardcore mashup band. the opening makes you want to drop-kick endangered animals)
i know you got soul - bobby byrd (very james brown-esque. if this cant make you dance, nothing can. yeah. i dance before games. right at start box.)
conquistadors - misery index (plain brutal)
bytor and the snow dog - rush (better for the ride from the hotel. its a bit long.)
and any song off of the "moving pictures" album by rush.
just a few. im a bit of an audiophile.

i honestly think i only listened to them because the chick i liked at the time liked them. that and i was like 16 or so and had yet do discover movits! when living in sweden (AND YEAH I WAS STOKED TO SEE THEM ON TV THE OTHER NIGHT).
but yeah, i never really LIKED THEM, i just wanted to get at that girls boobies.
