Nightlife & Things To Do At Nationals (Unofficial Players Party)

April 13, 2009 UPDATE:NOTICE: IMPORTANT UPDATES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE UNOFFICIAL PLAYERS PARTY. BE SURE TO REREAD EVERYTHING BELOW AND RSVP TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT ON THE BUS THURSDAY NIGHT FOR THE UNOFFICIAL PLAYERS PARTY AT THE WORLD FAMOUS PRANA NIGHT CLUB IN YBOR CITY!

Given the close proximity of Tampa and all the attractions near the National Championships tournament location, I have made some phone calls and put together an opportunity for all of the participants to have some fun while in Florida.

I go to USF and am in a fraternity here. I have some connections with local establishments and the clubs in the famous Ybor City.

I have arranged for a bus to pick up players/coaches/friends/girls whomever, from their hotels and take them to and from various establishments for each night, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each night, anyone that goes will receive FREE VIP and will have a FREE keg waiting for them at the establishment.

Thursday (Unofficial Players Party) we will be heading out to the famous 5-floor club, Prana, as featured on the E! Entertainment Newtork with its see through floors. Each floor has a different theme. My personal favorite is the live band on the top floor (outside). All attendees will receive FREE VIP and a FREE keg. This is the biggest club in Ybor City and Thursday is also college night and ladies night, so this will no doubt be the biggest event of the weekend. It will be $15 to get on the bus. Anyone not taking the bus, tell them you are there for the Unofficial Players Party at the door to get VIP. Specials : Ladies drink FREE until 1:00am and $3 Wells - 18 to party 21 to drink

Friday the bus (bus is TBD, needs 30 person minimum) will be taking us to and from the hottest USF bar, Tias. There will be a FREE keg waiting for us. Specials : $1 Shots from 12:00am-1:00am, $2 24 oz. drafts - 18 to party 21 to drink

Saturday (bus is TBD, needs 30 person minimum) we will heading out to Legends. Again, FREE keg for anyone that attends. Specials : $1 drafts (before Midnight), $2 bottles, $3 wells and $5 pitchers (before Midnight) - 18 to party 21 to drink

As I stated before the bus will be taking us to and from each establishment. There may be more perks to come and if they do I will announce them.

I need to know if anyone is planning on getting here on Wednesday, so I could look at setting up an event for us then as well.

This should be a lot of fun and a great opportunity for all of us to hangout together and experience the Tampa Bay area.

Reply to this thread to give me an idea of how many people are going to be coming out each night.

(Chris, if you would like we could make Thursday the Official Players Party and hang NCPA banners on the VIP floor (VIP is not just a section, it takes up an entire floor) to help promote Paintball and the NCPA. Let me know what you think of this and any ideas you may have.)

April 13, 2009 UPDATE: Buses will be making 1 run. Once to the establishment and once back. The buses will being leaving from the official event hotel, Days Inn & Suites, each night at 10pm. Buses require 30 person minimum. Prices and drink specials have been added in to each night description above. The money payed to get on the bus completely takes care of your cover charge to get in each venue and provides you with a ride there and back. Everyone either on the Bus or here for the Unofficial Players Party gets VIP at the door on Thursday. Each venue has a FREE keg waiting for us every night.

As part of the USF Paintball Team, I am excited to see Nationals held at our home field. The Tampa Bay Area is filled with stuff to do, and as stated above, also is home to Ybor City. This place is absolutely insane at night. I'm excited for all the colleges to come hang out at these clubs and unwind after playing all day. I guarantee it will be the best time you've had at a paintball event, or any trip for that matter. The players party at Prana will be ridiculous and all the other nights will be sick too. Take advantage of this opportunity. I hope to see you all out there.

For those of you that don't know... Prana is widely considered the best club in Ybor which is a very famous part of Tampa that is essentially the home base of all Tampa nightlife. You will slap yourself if you miss out on this event. Buses picking up all players at the hotel in Lakeland is awesome, no need to worry about a designated driver and no need to worry about directions. This is a huge opportunity to make this year's NCPA Nationals experience a memorable one.

Tons of girls at Prana (its a world famous party spot). You will not be disappointed... If you are I will apologize via PBN Private messaging system.

Tia's is an awesome USF bar. Tons of girls, great drink specials, good music, great environment.

Legends is a new USF area bar that is really starting to get off the ground. Its an epic sports bar turned party spot on Saturday nights. Certainly going to be an awesome time.

Can't wait to meet you guys at Prana, Tia's, and Legends.

What is better than paintball, beer, and girls on your vacation to FL.

My little bro goes to University of Tampa, so I'll be heading out there early. I'll be in Tampa on the 15th and won't leave until the 20th. So let me know if any other details come out. I might just have to hop on this party bus.

This great service doesn't cost a thing to my knowledge...

My understanding is the buses are free and all that is free you just have to pay for the cover fee to get into each respective place.

You get VIP for free and the keg is free. If you want mixed drinks or something else you gotta pay for it.

To make sure i'm right i'll have cody make a post.
