crooked tail

i just got my omen back from evil, for the second time, and it has worked so far. Just one problem, that tail thing is crooked. The gun still recocks and everything it's just the tail thing is crooked and it looks bad I noticed when i cock the gun the red thing (inside the gun u can see it when you cock the gun. Sorry don't know what it is called) is crooked so, in turn, the tail is crooked. Is there any way i can fix this myself, because i want to avoid sending my gun in AGAIN and waiting another week.

odd... the red block shouldn't be crooked. Try taking the pin out and lining up the block and replacing the pin... although I can't even imagine putting the block in crooked... it shouldn't be possible.

My omen does that too, that's one thing I hate about it. Mine doesn't affect performance, but it affects function. The block moves around a lot and when you're shooting, my block gets jammed, so my tail is crooked and I can't get that damn pin out without hammering it out.

Overall, i'm dissapointed in MY omen.

mine does that too when its cocked. this happens because the pin is in the center, which allows the block to pivot a little bit. and it only happens when its cocked cuz the hammer spring pushes ont he bottom, which than pivots around the single pin. as long as it doesnt drag, its all good.

.........

You can use a small strip of tape on the top of the inner block to fix this.. Just cut a small strip of tape to match the top round part of the red inner block. Use good tape or its not going to stick. Use more than 1 piece if its still loose..

If you do it right it will fit snug and keep the inner block from moving, keeping everything lined up perfectly.

Try some diff tape then, like electrical or duck tape. Even if you have to use more then one layer.

You're not trying to tape the thing down, that would require an an extremelty strong adhesive, which is not the approach to take. Instead of "holding the red thing down" take the red block out of the gun and apply some good electrical tape to the side portions of the block... aka the part of the block that actually touches the marker. This will make it fit tighter so you should get less movement, in fact you should get very little to none. Any movement of the back block could bring about some inconsistency which is never a good thing.

This actually worked very nicely.
I used electrical tape and the inner block is snug and aligned perfectly. I used one small piece on the side of the block and one piece on the top curved part. Good idea. Thanks
