there aren't many local or even regional level events that enforce the no orange rule. Ask the promoter of the events you're interested in attending to make sure.. but that is suck a dark color or copper that I seriously doubt even a PSP ref would care.
It'll all be up to the Refs on that field to decide what's legal and what isn't. The fields try to be consistent, but if the Ultimate says that it's a no on his field you'll have to either deface your belongings or use another one. In general Orange and Yellow have been protected colors because of the presence of Orange and Yellow paint.
If you have to ask to begin with, bring a back up.
I'm just saying that since it's an individual decision asking herre may not be as helpful, it's completely up to you whether you sell it or not, but be aware that just because someone says it's legal by a pic online doesn't mean that it will be considered legal at the event.
Your best bet in this type of situation is bring a second marker...and if they say no you play with the second...if not play with it. Especially regarding colors its all up to the head ref what is 'orange' and what is not.
On a national level (NPPL) I would have to say "No play" because in some light, the gun may appear to look orange which may 'upset' the opposing team and lord knows what happens then. Granted, It would probly pass up until PSP (or hell PSP might even let it in)...
