09 proto SLG UL worth 100 bucks extra??

like my title says, i was just wondering if the 09 proto SLG UL is worth 100 dollars extra over the 09 proto SLG without a UL frame??What are the main differences between them?

Yes it is, and the only difference is the ul frame. The frame is well worth the $100 more

I honestly don't think it is. I also have large hands though so i prefer the larger grip to the thinner/smaller UL frame. Not sure if the UL board has any different modes or anything, i know the stock slg board has you covered with all your basic modes and adjustments.

Worth it 100%.
The ul frame is not only the most comfortable grip frame out there, but it comes with a better trigger and board. Resale is alot higher too.

The board and triggers are the same on both guns. And the resale value for a more expensive gun would be higher...

The ul board is different. It's a different size, shape and it has battery clips instead of wires with a connector if I'm not mistaken. Also the trigger a bit different, it uses a different method of adjustment, and I'm guessing its not the same from the inside. Also, the comment on resale I made refers to the fact that it will HOLD its resale better then the regular 09, because of the ul frame. IE The 09 PMR will hold its resale over a 08.. Sorry for bringing that up to begin with.

I stand corrected. Also, on topic, I agree with all who say that the UL frame is worth it. Finally, when I said the boards were the same, I meant that they have the same modes etc (I believe).

hold both of them.

I just love the grip on the UL frame and how the UL trigger frame is thinner.

if the SLG is just a stepping stone into tourney play, i say skip the UL frame and save the hundred bucks. If you plan on using the SLG for a while. get the UL.

From what everyone says it seems to be way better. If you have the money I suggest getting the UL. Its a far better choice.

If you have tons of money to spend, get the UL. If 100$ has value to you do not get UL. I find it's simply a weight and feel difference. For that small of a personal opinion it is NOT worth it.
