Or original Hater, or Eclipse grease, or Lurker Lube, or..... Well, you get the idea. Any Dow33 variant should be OK, with varying levels of success.

However, be aware that using an aftermarket grease will invalidate your warranty if your marker is still in warranty.

Sl33k provides a decent compromise between slickness, and longevity - it just seems to work better with Shockers than some other Dow33 based greases - so a lot of people are happy to stick with the recommended grease; why mess with what works, particularly if it is going to keep your warranty intact?

i used to use dow 33, but since i switched to lurker i get increased playablility without having to relube. before with dow i used to get alittle fsdo by the end of the day after almost my 2nd case of paint. now i can go two days or 4 casese without relube.

SL33K is doing good for me, I don't see why you would want to use something other than dow33.

But the orange hater sauce from what I hear is good for shockers.

thats just dow33,

i use dow 33 on my shocker, and its the only marker i use it on exclusivly. on all static orings on any other marker i use dow 33 and then gun butter for the moving ones, but for my shockers dow 33 has been working amazing.

i've used only smart parts sl33k on my shocker. it's the only lube that hasn't given me problems with FSDO and shoot-down. it's what i always recommend, and it's what smart parts recommends. after all, they did build the gun, i think they know what lube you should be using.
