Macdev shift kit question.

I was just Macdevusa.com and it says that the shift kit "cannot be swabbed out". Is this true or is that a typo or something? I really want to buy the kit but if I can't swab it out, thats kind of a pain in the arse . thanks

The new Shift kit uses a unique insert system that cannot be swabbed out
Says that on the product page but it means that you can't push or move the insert out of the barrel on accident when swabbing out the barrel. A bit poorly worded but like Edda said, it can be cleaned with a swab.

The Shift Kit comes with a swab. I've swabbed mine. There's nothing wrong with it.

Haha I never read it that way, it just seemed to me that it couldn't be pushed out of place by a swab, but now I can definitely see how it could be interpreted as "You can't use a swab in these"...

Yeah I think it was used as an advantage over insert systems like the Freak, where if the swab was big enough it might move the insert.

its comparing it to what happens with freak inserts when you swab them it is one of the nicer things about the shift kit
