Leaking solenoid insert
So I was teching my 1.5 today and discovered a small leak from the front solenoid insert/ body plug on the right side as you face the barrel. I don't recollect seeing anything on this in the past, and the tech page on doodlebug says that messing with it is a large no-no, so is this something that I should bother trying to fix (I would assume you remove the plug clean it and apply fresh blue loctite and tighten it back in) or is the location of these inserts so sensitive that I am best just sending it back to DLX.
Thanks in advance.

dlx, just send it to dlx. If you remove it and its doesn't quiet seal perfectly it will leak forever, just one of those things I only trust the manufacture for.
If you do choose to do it yourself, your going to want something stronger than blue, red is probably best and black maybe overkill.

Understood. I am out of action for 3 weeks at least so I am sure it won't be a big deal.

Remove it and clean the threads. Put one drop of BLUE loctite on the threads and screw it in the gun. Let it sit for a day and you should be fine.

as stated by Ragin Cajun if you fully trust yourself you can fix it at home, if you have any doubt send it to DLX for the best results.

Couldn't get to MAO, so I got an RMA and sent it in, I figured that I would have them fix it and see how much/if they's do the milling for the FT screw removal like 2.0's have, and (my biggest wish) Laser the barrel to match the digi-camo of the marker. Waiting to here back.
