Bolt Spring Screw Stripped

Good Afternoon Nation. I have a quandry and a problem with the bolt spring retention screw, the head is stripped out. I did not know this until I ordered a replacement spring from Chris. What methods are there to remove this screw or is it something I will need to take other measures with.

For performance notes, the markers functions perfectly fine with the spring in the bolt.

screw extractor that will fit into the stripped hex head is the right way. The hard part is going to be finding a way to reach down in there.

You might be able to drill it out from the front of the bolt but there's a good chance you'll mess up the bolt threads.

Had a gun brought to me with the same problem. You either have to drill it or get a new bolt.

Heat up the tip with a lighter before trying to unscrew it. It will break the loctite loose. If you have the bolt with the oring on the tip be sure to remove that before taking a lighter to it though.
