Woohoo

Wow, a new forum just for evil!!!
Well, I guess i'll post something here...
My omen has a problem with chopping.
Whenever I fire, either fast or slow, it chops a ball quite often.
Any ideas to why it's doing this?

I use the evil pipe kit and the ball to bore fit is good and the recock is adjusted properly, the regulator is also adjusted properly.

omen chop

first, a chop is highly unlikely but it can happen.
Please be certain your recock is set as the manual states.
Also make sure the bumper is present on the far side of the breech.
with the gun degassed rapidly pull back on the rear block and let it fly forward.... does it function smoothly?

Of course the recock is set perfectly.
The kind of soft bumper is there too and the block moves very smoothly.

Open the CAM up and see if the cam is pushing the balls all the way into the breech, it may need adjusting.

hey check the little set screw on the left side of the body. Turn it all the way in untill it doesnt shoot, then start backing it out untill it starts shooting again and then try that. Thats what we did to ours at a local shop and has been working fine.
