ROTC then AF then into your perspective field. If you can afford to go to college, graduate, and get your degree and want to apply it to the armed forces then that is the best career path.
Getting a degree then enlisting is going about it *** backwards. But I know a few good officers because they were prior enlisted and got their degree THEN applied to OTS. This is the best way to do it if you CANNOT afford to go to college and want a degree and to become an officer.
Bottom line is that its harder to commision already as an enlisted troop. Its easier to get a slot out of college with a degree. Go to ROTC then come in O-type. Dont even bother enlisting unless you cant finish college.
