there's a lot of people that like the rainman kits over the wwa kits. One reason iirc is that the pump handle is bigger than the wwa kits. I have a wwa uc kit and ya... the pump handle isn't TOO small.. but a little bigger handle would be nice.

I think you mean the wevo UC kit not the wwa kit.
and yes the Rainman kit is very nice and I liked it better than the wevo kit, the rainman kit just looks better and is more beefy and feels more solid as there is no movement at all

So what I gather is that the Rainman is nicer because it is sturdier due to the third rod, correct?

^That, and also the rainman pump handle is good sized, the wevo pump handle is puny.

a lil somfin somfin!
i dug mine. i think i like the stock handle the best, but that's how i played with it for years, and so it's home to me.
but it was by far the best U/C kit out there. Wevo kit was nice, but itty bitty, and i don't have ovely large hands... This kit gave a nice comfortable setup that i dug. pretty smooth, but all three of my kits (stock, wevo, and then rainman) were as light as the next, b/c all were using the same springs. i liked the heft of it, as the extra mass felt solid when pumping it, giving it a nice solid smooth stroke.
if you want to rock your phantom as an open class samurai sword, this is the kit for you, if you want to have the option to make your phantom a beast for special occasions, it's pricey-but a nice quality kit!

Thanks for the info. Im going to be running stock class, and I dont think that should change why I would want to get this kit, but does anyone have any reason this kit would not be for me? Also, these use the CCM handles if Im not mistaken, so could I get a clear red handle for this?

look @ the wevo pump kit compared to the cci small pump kit. Honestly ive used this pump kit, and it feels pretty good actually. I haven't used the rainman kit, but using a CCM pump to compare to it is pretty small. When i use my phantom I put about 1-1/2 to 2 fingers on the front of the handle. It depends on your personal play style though.

Keep the pump hand strong

I really liked the old style Wevo handle. I can't imagine why they changed it to something so small.

Here is mine...
I have used every pump kit for the Phantom and this one is the bomb! Very smooth and fast.... no double feeds with this thing.
Well worth the $$.

The rainman kit is great, and very stable. I would recommend it to anyone.
