help hooking up a desktop to tv??

So the story here is i have a friend who got in a very serious car accident and cant leave his bed for a good 3 months, he enjoys playing wow, but there's no way to get his monitor set up around his bed, but he does have a 40 inch samsung plasma which he can see, so what would be the easiest way to hook his desktop up for him? This is an older compaq so it doesn't have like an s-video connection or anything, i remember there being like an RVCA cable you could use or something? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'd say new graphics card with HDMI out and an HDMI cable.

sorry, but the whole upgrading computers thing is a bit beyond me, plus the computer is too crappy to the point where putting a new graphics card on it would be a bit of a waste, is there anything a bit easier?

If his computer is that crappy... my guess is he doesn't have DVI. You need to check his connectors.

If he has DVI then go for it. Otherwise you'll need something that goes to the VGA port.

Get him a laptop and return it in 2-3 weeks. Than go and buy another and do the same thing. Free laptops, YAY!
